Marijuana dependence in remission is defined to be a condition where the physical and mental symptoms of marijuana dependence are no longer evident, regardless of whether or not the person is still using marijuana-containing substances. Marijuana dependence in remission is further subdivided in remission into Early or Sustained, and Partial or Full. Stable remissions from marijuana dependence are usually defined as those remissions lasting at least 26 weeks.
